Admissions
Friends School of Portland warmly welcomes students who will benefit from our programs and instructional style and who will contribute positively to the life of the school community.
Our school is most suitable for children who are comfortable in a small setting and who will respond to a program that emphasizes both independent and collaborative learning. We seek families who support our Quaker values and our educational goals. Lots of information about our school, such as descriptions of our programs, the Community Handbook, and FAQs, is available in the menu for Why Choose FSP? You may also click through to specific class descriptions at the following links:
Preschool | Kindergarten | Grades 1-2 | Grades 3-4 | Grades 5-8
We are committed to building and maintaining a community that is diverse and inclusive with regard to race, ethnicity, gender, creed, family structure, and economic background, knowing that such diversity enriches all of us.
FSP is pleased to announce a new Diversity Scholarship, funded by an anonymous donor, to increase the racial and cultural diversity of the school. Please click here for application criteria.
