Employment at FSP

We are an independent day school serving children from a variety of family backgrounds in preschool through 8th grade. We emphasize inquiry, reflection and action in a close community. We welcome faculty and staff who are excited by the challenge of shaping a young school, are committed to community service and finding the best in each person, and are guided by Quaker values. We seek teachers with strong experience with multi-age teaching in the grades and/or content areas for which they apply. All teachers and staff play a major role in admissions, curriculum development and community building. The school collaborates with Governor Baxter School for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. The average class size is close to 12, the children are amazing, the staff is friendly and dedicated, and the setting is spectacular.
